Senior Citizen Health Camp — Free Check-ups
Free health screenings specifically for senior citizens — blood pressure, diabetes, eye check-ups, and pension scheme awareness.

Comprehensive Health Screenings Provided

Attendees received thorough health screenings covering blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar level testing, BMI assessment, vision checks, and dental examinations. Each screening station was staffed by qualified medical professionals who took the time to explain results and provide personalised health guidance to every participant.
Special attention was given to identifying early warning signs of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular conditions, which remain significantly underdiagnosed in underserved communities. Patients flagged for further investigation were referred to partner hospitals for subsidised follow-up care.
Health Awareness & Preventive Education
“I never knew that regular check-ups could prevent so many diseases. Today I learned about my blood pressure for the first time. I will now visit the clinic every month.”
Parallel awareness sessions educated community members on preventive healthcare practices, including proper handwashing techniques, nutritional guidelines for balanced diets, the importance of regular exercise, and early detection of common illnesses. Interactive demonstrations and Q&A sessions ensured participants could immediately apply what they learned in their daily lives.
Educational materials in Hindi and local dialects were distributed, covering topics such as maternal health, child immunisation schedules, tuberculosis symptoms, and government health schemes available to low-income families. Community health volunteers were trained to continue these awareness efforts in their neighbourhoods.
